EXCELLENCE AS OUR FOUNDATON

The Gold Standard? We’re Platinum.

At Platinum Test Prep, excellence is our norm.

Our company was created by two sisters, Hallie and Julia, who graduated as back-to-back valedictorians from their high school in Upstate NY. The two independently achieved perfect scores on the ACT and scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT, which test prep played a vital role in. As they progressed through higher education, the two have experienced firsthand how difficult it can be for high-achieving students to sustain academic excellence and balance a demanding extracurricular schedule.

Now both pursuing doctoral-level degrees, Hallie and Julia have successfully developed their own methodologies for test-taking, content retention, concept application, and learning in the modern age, which allows them to continuously achieve more accolades.

We built Platinum Test Prep to solve [this] problem. Many students juggle rigorous coursework, athletics, leadership roles, part-time jobs, and extracurricular commitments, yet are expected to perform at the highest level with limited time and support.

Our longitudinal online format was intentionally designed to meet this need. By working one-on-one with students weekly over an extended period, we prioritize steady growth, instill accountability, and achieve mastery without burnout or last-minute cramming.

The result is a transformation that lasts. We do not simply prepare students for exams. We teach them how to think critically, adapt with confidence, and excel across every academic pursuit.”

HALLIE MORGAN

Founder & Lead Instructor

Hallie Morgan serves as the founder of Platinum Test Prep. For the last several years, she has worked with dozens of students across the country on SAT and ACT preparation, raising their scores into the top 95th percentile.

Hallie is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Southern Methodist University with specializations in Digital Twin Development and Dynamics and Controls. Her academic training demands advanced problem-solving, analytical precision, and adaptability at the highest level.

For her undergraduate studies, Hallie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Syracuse University. She attended SU as a Leadership Scholar - a title given to those awarded one of the university’s highest merit-based scholarships. Alongside that, Hallie was a Division I student-athlete, competing on the nationally ranked Syracuse University Dance Team. Having to balance intensive training and competition alongside a demanding engineering curriculum, Hallie has firsthand experience of the challenges faced by high-achieving students managing rigorous academics alongside significant extracurricular commitments.

Prior to college, Hallie was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class, where she also earned a perfect score on the ACT.

Hallie’s instructional approach emphasizes critical thinking, strategic reasoning, and strategy-based test-taking. Drawing on extensive experience across multiple disciplines, she easily adapts to each student’s personal learning style to help them comprehend faster, feel more confident, and unlock new levels of success.

JULIA MORGAN

Vice President & Instructor

Julia Morgan serves as Vice President of Platinum Test Prep. She works with students preparing for the SAT and ACT exams, in addition to those who need support in high school-level STEM courses.

Julia will be attending Medical School in Fall 2026, where she will achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. Through her recent MCAT preparation, she is equipped with advanced techniques for high-level standardized testing, allowing her to provide unparalleled and championed strategies to her students.

Preceding her acceptance to med school, Julia graduated early from Clemson University’s Honors College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Microbiology. During this time, Julia made the Dean’s List each semester while actively participating in on-campus research and off-campus clinical work. Julia also worked with the Gantt Multicultural Center, where she led dialogue with incoming freshmen on identity, inclusivity, and navigating campus resources. This experience strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, mentor students thoughtfully, and adapt instruction to diverse learning styles.

Before this, just like her sister, Julia was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class and earned a perfect score on the ACT.

Her instructional approach emphasizes clarity, structured problem-solving, and disciplined study habits. Julia helps students approach academic material and exams with certainty, precision, and a strong foundation for future achievements.
